Service Description

Feel calm, clear, and confident about your baby’s vaccine decisions, without fear or pressure. This 3-part series is designed for parents who want to understand the vaccine schedule and make empowered choices that feel right for your family. We will cover the vaccines given in Québec at 12 and 18 months old: meningococcal C, Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B When ⏱️ (this is a 3-day course): Monday Oct 20 at 10am-11:30am Tuesday Oct 21 at 10am-11:30am Wednesday Oct 22 at 10am-11:30am 🎒This is for you if: - You’re a parent with a child of vaccine age - Your intuition is telling you to learn more - You’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or under-informed - You’re considering a delayed or reduced schedule - You’re looking for a safe space to explore your options without judgment - You want evidence-based education - You want Canadian stats 👩‍🏫 What You’ll Learn 🦠 For Each Disease 1. What the disease is 2. Symptoms – what it typically looks and feels like 3. Possible complications – how serious it can get 4. Route of exposure – how it spreads 5. Rate of infection in Canada – how common it is 6. Risk factors – what makes someone more likely to be exposed to it or catch it 7. Complication risk – what makes someone more likely to have a severe case 9. Available treatments – what options exist if you or your child gets it 10. Travel considerations – how risk levels change when visiting other countries 💉 For Each Vaccine: According to Health Canada and the vaccine manufacturer: 1. Stated effectiveness – how well does it protect 2. Potential adverse events – in pre-market clinical trial(s), and post-market reports 3. Target population – who the vaccine is meant for 4. Contraindications – who the vaccine is not meant for, or should be cautious 5. Data- what studies have been done to establish safety, and wwhat has not been studied 6. Ingredients and potential allergies 7. Doses What’s Included: ✔️ 3 live online group sessions covering all the above (on Google Meet) ✔️ 1 week Telegram group chat access for questions ✔️ Recordings available for 1 week Non-refundable or exchangeable.
